The Walk of Peace – A Path to Peace

The Walk of Peace is a cross-border trail through the heritage of World War I – the Isonzo Front, created in cooperation with partners in Friuli Venezia Giulia, which follows a 500-kilometre route along the sites of World War I from the Alps to the Adriatic Sea. With its messages of cooperation and tolerance, it is an example of good cooperation in an area that has seen more than its fair share of divisive historical processes. The roundtable will outline the origins and significance of the Walk of Pease and present individual testimonies from the Isonzo Front.
