Jaroš Krivec is a researcher at the Milko Kos Historical Institute of ZRC SAZU, where he focuses on the cultural and social history of the 19th century, particularly in Central Europe and the Balkans. A special emphasis of his research is on the social history of medicine, especially epidemics and the history of vaccination. He graduated in philosophy and history in 2017, and obtained his master’s degree in social and cultural history in 2021. Since 2021, he has been a doctoral student at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. He has also completed part of his studies at universities in Vienna, Berlin, and Düsseldorf.
