Henrik Tuma Library and Archive

We will present one of the best preserved Slovenian bourgeois libraries from the turn of the 19th to the 20th century – the library of Henrik Tuma, preserved at the ZRC SAZU Research Station in Nova Gorica. The library offers insight into the reading culture and the books in circulation in the Gorizia Region and the wider Slovenian area, and draws attention to Gorizia's involvement in European cultural currents.

The library tour will be guided by Petra Kolenc, Neva Makuc and Urban Markočič: at 16:00 in Slovenian, at 17:00 in Italian and at 18:00 in English.
